This land to the south of Belhus Woods Country Park was acquired by the Woodland Trust in 1998 as part of its 'Woods on your Doorstep' project. Part has been planted with trees and part left as open meadows, to create a parkland atmosphere. .

Visiting

Access from Romford Road north of Aveley. From Upminster follow Corbets Tey Road (B1421) south, turn right on to Harwood Hall Lane at the Huntsman & Hounds PH, then first left on to Aveley Road which runs straight on into Romford Road. SatNav: RM15 4XH.

Half-hourly service from Romford to Lakeside via Upminster station runs along Romford Road.

Accessible at all times.
